Webinar: Wind energy – Holistic impact assessment

Date: 17 October
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM AM (CET)
Location: Online

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming webinar on Holistic Impact Assessment in Wind Energy, co-organised by WIMBY, JUSTWIND4ALL and WENDY. This event will bring together experts and project partners from three Horizon Europe projects to share their latest research on the comprehensive assessment of wind energy projects.

In the context of renewable energy development, particularly wind energy, it is essential to analyse and understand all related aspects to promote its sustainable evolution. A comprehensive, holistic approach allows for the examination of key factors from social, environmental, and technical perspectives.

Why participate?

This workshop aims to explore these three interconnected levels—social, environmental, and technical—through tools developed by the three European projects. The session will provide a well-rounded view of the challenges and opportunities involved in the implementation of both onshore and offshore wind farms.

What to expect?

  • A keynote speaker who will deliver a special presentation, offering valuable insights into the comprehensive evaluation of wind energy projects.
  • Presentations from JustWind4All, WIMBY, and WENDY project partners, showcasing their research on holistic impact assessment in wind energy
  • A live discussion session where attendees can engage with project experts, ask questions, and explore the challenges and opportunities in wind energy impact assessments.
